Gonadotropin Side Effects

When taking HCG, the same side effects can occur as when taking testosterone.The use of gonadotropin in higher doses or for a longer period of time leads to a suppression of the secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormones and therefore disturbs the physiological function of the hypothalamic-pituitary testicles. Large doses (2000-5000 IU) not exceeding 20 days are recommended, but according to Michael Scally, MD, and a number of studies testicular desensitization does not occur when the dose is 500 IU of hCG or injected less often up to 3 times per week. This protocol can be considered safe even for 1-2 months.
