Side effects

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics. Care should be taken when using the drug in patients with severe liver and kidney function. Interactions with other drugs

Enhances the effects of ergot alkaloids, dihydroergotamine. Tetracyclines and chloramphenicol – enhancing effect (synergy), lincosamides – lowering effect. Antacids, ethanol, slow down food and reduce absorption. Slows excretion, increases serum concentration and increases toxicity of cycloserine, anticoagulants, methylprednisolone and felodipine. Inhibition of microsomal oxidation in hepatocytes, prolonged T1 / 2, slow excretion and toxicity increase the concentration of carbamazepine, ergot alkaloids, valproate, hexobarbital, phenytoin, disopyramide, bromocriptine, theophylline and other xanthine derivatives, oral antidiabetics.Not compatible with heparin.
